5 places not to be missed in Gran Canaria

Travelling to Gran Canaria is a real delight for the palate, because of its varied and tasty cuisine. But it is also a pleasure for the rest of the senses: because of all the corners you can visit, the energy that it is felt and the smell of salt water that accompanies us on every walk along the shore.

• Maspalomas Dunes

His unique natural landscape in the Canary Islands is very impressive. The Maspalomas dunes extend over 400 hectares and end in a stunning golden sandy beach, where another of the Seaside Collection group's hotels is located: the Seaside Palm Beach. 

• Roque Nublo

This is an emblematic rock formation on the island, one of the most important landmarks in Gran Canaria, located in the heart of the island. A truly unique landscape! 

• Jardín Botánico Canario Viera y Clavijo

This is a great place for nature and plant lovers. This garden has more than 500 plant species and is located in an excellent location on a hillside on the outskirts of the city. There you will be able to connect with nature in its purest form. 

• Puerto de Mogán

Also known as "Little Venice", this is one of the most beautiful villages in Gran Canaria. This fishing port has become a popular tourist spot, thanks to its stunning beach and traditional Canarian architecture. Strolling along its canals and sitting down for a coffee in one of the restaurants in its small, picturesque harbour is a wonderful experience. 

• Las Palmas de Gran Canaria

The island’s capital, also known as Las Palmas, is a place full of life and energy. It has an impressive urban beach, Las Canteras Beach, as well as a rich culture and cuisine.
